Nectar of Armenia’s Unusual Chef.
Golden, round, and bursting with personality, Chef Apri isn’t your ordinary chef – in fact, Apri isn’t even human. Born in the apricot orchards of Armenia’s Ararat Valley, Apri brings the sunshine, the sweetness, and the spirit of Armenian heritage to every Nectar of Armenia dish.
Apri’s story began under the warm sun, in an apricot orchard where the rustle of leaves blended with the joyful laughter of villagers during harvest. While most apricots were destined to become jam, Apri had bigger plans – to travel beyond the orchard, learn the cherished recipes of other nations, and add a touch of Armenian magic to them.
From rolling dough for Georgian khinkali to neatly folding Russian pelmeni, from flipping delicate blinchik to perfecting crispy Kiev-style chicken, Apri has mastered the flavors of many different cuisines. Each dish is prepared with deep respect for its ethnic roots – but also with the care, warmth, and a hint of playful creativity that define Nectar of Armenia.
Beneath the apron and the slightly tilted chef’s hat beats the heart of an apricot devoted to tradition, yet never afraid of innovation. A sprig of fresh herbs here, a pinch of Armenian red pepper there – Apri’s touch turns every meal into a little miracle to be savored.
Today, as Nectar of Armenia’s head chef, Apri’s mission is simple – preserve the past, warm the present, and sprinkle magic into the future. Whether it’s classic Armenian gata or beautifully folded khinkali, with Chef Apri’s magic, every dish feels as if it has come straight from a warm, traditional kitchen to your table.
